The 10 Inventions — In No Particular Order

Three steps. Infinite surprises.

The mechanic takes 30 seconds to learn. The joy of learning never ends!

1
Tap Your Guess

Pick a card from the tuck box. Decide where it belongs in your timeline — then tap it into position, face down.

2
Challenge (optional)

Before anyone reveals, shout "EUREKA!" and bet a token on a placement you think is wrong. Right? You steal their card. Wrong? You lose your token.

3
Reveal

Flip the card. Was the fax machine really invented before the moon landing? Find out — and deal with it.

The Eureka Token

Each player starts with 2 Eureka tokens. Spend them to challenge placements, steal cards from other timelines, and bet on who has history backwards. Max 5 tokens per player — earn more by getting trivia right before the reveal.

Classic vs. Blitz

Hover a card to flip it and see how each mode plays.

Classic Mode

Take turns building your timeline. Bet Eureka tokens between turns.

  • One card per turn
  • Challenge rivals any time
  • First to 10 correct cards wins
  • Best for: family nights, 3–8 players
Real-Time
Blitz

Blitz Mode

All players go simultaneously. Speed is the weapon.

  • Everyone plays at once
  • Shout "TAP 10!" when done
  • One wrong card and your run is void
  • Best for: competitive, 2–4 players

Easy to learn. Hard to put down.

No Rulebook Required

The mechanic clicks in seconds. Pick a card, place it, flip it. Everyone's playing by round two — no instruction-sheet paralysis.

The Surprise Is the Game

The fax machine predates the moon landing. The microwave came before the TV remote. Every card is a conversation starter wrapped in a wrong answer.

Works for Everyone

Ages 8 to 99. Families, friends, schools, parties. Sessions run 20–30 minutes — long enough to matter, short enough to play again immediately.
